July is supposed to be one of those months in which the sun shines and we all put down our controllers. That’s happened, what… once or twice? The rest of the month has pretty much been a washout thanks to the darned English weather! While that’s bad news for our tans, it’s good news for our gaming habit!
The penultimate episode of Telltale’s Game of Thrones game released at the end of the month, and while there’s no photo mode, the lovely painted-style graphics make for some really nice screenshots. If you’re a fan of the TV show, or interactive stories in general, I highly recommend playing this game.
Another release at the end of the month was Journey on PS4. I’d played the PS3 version a few years ago and remember it having a beautiful art style. I wasn’t disappointed when I played the PS4 version. The lack of UI and lovely landscapes just beg to be photographed!
2 months in and I still haven’t finished The Witcher 3. Here’s another batch of photos from what is undoubtedly a massive and great-looking game. There’s still no official photo mode, which is a shame, but we work with what we’re given!
With August round the corner, we’re all hoping for a change in the weather and a chance to shake off our pasty complexions. It’s about time we got outside for some real-life adventures, but I’m sure even that won’t stop us sneaking in a little bit of game time! Stay tuned for next month’s blog to see what we’ve been up to.
