The latest expansion pack for the world’s most successful MMO, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is the third expansion for World of Warcraft. Thousands of people around the world queued into the night to get hold of the latest in the series. We were heavily involved in the UK side of the Launch at Sound nightclub, Leicester Square in central London. This included creating a bespoke countdown clock which was projected onto a building outside the club.
Once the clock hit midnight it triggered a motion graphic of the countdown clock burning up and cracking the building to reveal a massive dragon The event was compèred by Jason Bradbury (of Gadget Show fame), a self-confessed Halo geek and apparently also a big World of Warcraft fan.
